I am a young entrepreneur with big ideas and a love for creating things that make people smile!
I started Made by Evie because I wanted to build something of my own, learn new skills, share my creations and be in charge of making my own pocket money. I’ve always enjoyed working on projects and coming up with business ideas, even from a young age.
Before this, I ran a few little businesses to learn the ropes. One was called The Weeding Process Co, where I helped with gardening jobs for my neighbours. That’s where I first learned how to make an invoice and even designed my own business cards!
Then came A Poochy Life, where I co-walked dogs and made my first website. That experience showed me how important it is to advertise and promote what you do — just having a website isn’t enough!
Now, with all that practice and learning, I’ve started Made by Evie — a place where I can be creative, run a real business, and share my journey as I go. I’m planning to post updates about what I’m learning and doing, so other young people can see how it all works too!
Outside of business, I’m really into horse riding and bonding with the pony I loan, Ethel! My first savings goal from the money I earn is to go to Badminton International Horse Trials, which I’m super excited about!

I started this business because I wanted to earn a bit of money of my own, but also because I love helping people make their homes more personal. Let’s face it — fridges are kind of boring without something special on them! These magnets are a lovely way to capture memories that last longer than just a photo on your phone or a piece of paper.
They also make great gifts for birthdays, Christmas, or just because! Whether it’s a selfie, a pet, or a holiday snap — I can turn it into a magnet you’ll love.

I’ve chosen to donate 10% of all my profits to The Children’s Society, because I believe all children should have someone who listens to them, stands up for them, and helps them feel safe — no matter what they’re going through.
The Children’s Society does amazing work supporting children who might be struggling at home, at school, or with things like feeling scared, unheard, or left out. They help make sure children’s voices are heard, especially in places where decisions are being made about their lives — like in schools, care, or court.
As a young person myself, I think it’s so important that every child has the chance to speak up and be supported. That’s why I want my business to help make a difference for other children, even in a small way.
